Two SJM restaurants, Palace Garden and Zuicho, located at Grand Lisboa Palace, have been awarded notable accolades at the World’s Best Wine Lists 2025, organised by the World of Fine Wine publication.
Palace Garden secured the Best Hotel Wine List and Best Sake List (outside Japan) in Asia, while Zuicho was recognised for the Best Large-Format Wine List in Asia. SJM says the awards underscore its longstanding, prominent role in wine programme excellence.
Palace Garden and Zuicho are now set to compete in the global finals in September against award recipients from five other regions for the top honours. Additionally, the organiser has introduced the “Champions’ League,” a separate list that acknowledges the world’s most distinguished wine collections. This prestigious award, one of the highest distinctions in wine curation, features five categories, each with a single global winner.

SJM’s Robuchon au Dôme at Grand Lisboa Macau has consistently held the “Champions’ League – Best Dessert & Fortified Wine List” title for five consecutive years since 2020.
SJM anticipates further achievements for its restaurants on the international stage and says this latest international recognition is a vindication of its ongoing investment in its wine portfolio, its efforts in promoting wine culture, and its active contribution to the development of Macau’s culinary sector.
The World’s Best Wine Lists awards have been held annually since their inception in 2014. The programme attracts participation from leading hotels and restaurants worldwide each year and has been established as one of the most respected awards in the industry.
