The House of Dancing Water show will close temporarily from today until January 2021, Melco Resorts and Entertainment announced today. The show will undergo a revamp led by creative director Franco Dragone.

The show currently employs around 100 international performers and 300 professional staff, a number that will be reduced in the future.

The House of Dancing Water, located at the City of Dreams in Cotai, has received over 6 million spectators since its debut in 2010.

“We are honoured that our collaboration with Franco Dragone has flourished through the immense success of The House of Dancing Water. The show will be re-imagined to offer new energy and excitement, enhancing its status as Macau’s must-see performance (…) the new show will also benefit from the continuous development of local talent,” said David Sisk, Chief Operating Officer of Macau resorts in a statement.
