Japan won the 30th Macao International Fireworks Display Contest, announced today the Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO).
The winner show , Marutamaya Ogatsu Fireworks Co., Ltd. from Japan, was presented Saturday.
Japan, was followed by the fireworks teams from China (Liuyang New Year Fireworks Trading Co., Ltd.) and France (SAS BREZAC Artifices) as first and second runners-up.
MGTO has contracted a dozen companies to compete: Australia, Canada, France, Japan, South Korea, the Chinese mainland, Malaysia, the Philippines, Portugal, Romania, South Africa, and the United Kingdom.
Liuyang New Year Fireworks Trading Co., Ltd from China won the 2018 championship, followed by the fireworks teams Marutamaya Ogatsu Fireworks Co., Ltd. from Japan and Potsdamer Feuerwerk GmbH from Germany as the first and second runners-up.
