Everyone in Macao must undergo a rapid antigen test (RAT) for two consecutive days on the 29 and 30 June, the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre has announced.

If test results are positive, individuals must declare them on the Macao Health Code where their codes will subsequently turn red. They should also immediately dial 119, 120 or 2857 2222 for assistance, whether or not they are symptomatic. Those who fail to self-test today and upload their results onto the Health Bureau’s reporting platform will risk their Macao Health Codes turning yellow at midnight.

The measure comes after the city’s third mass testing ended at 6 pm today. A total of 652,544 people were sampled across 61 stations and as of 6 pm, 406,835 had tested negative. Twenty-four “10+1” pooled samples, however, tested positive for Covid-19.
