Three programmes for the 32nd Macao Arts Festival programmes have been cancelled owing to Covid-19 control and prevention measures in mainland China as the performers are unable to travel to Macao.

The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) said that the cancelled programmes are Xiao Ke (7-8 May), Electra (12-13 May) and I Am a Moon (27-28 May).

Refunds are available from the Macao Ticketing Network until 30 June.

The schedule of the Performing Arts Gala, originally slated for 20-22 May, will also be changed due to pandemic prevention measures, as the Jinjiang Hand Puppet Arts Protection and Inheritance Centre is unable to visit Macao, The Macau Post Daily reported.
