Macau Urban Renewal (MUR) hopes to put flats at its Macau New Neighborhood project on sale earlier than planned.
Apartments at the development on Hengqin island were originally scheduled to be released a few weeks before the end of the year.
But speaking on TDM Radio yesterday, MUR’s senior urban planner Joyce Tam said home sales could now start in September.

In an interview cited in Macau Post Daily, Tam said the development’s final survey was now expected in August, after which sales could start.
Macau New Neighbourhood consists of 27 residential towers of up to 26 floors. There are around 4,000 units available for purchase and a small number for leasing.
Most of the development consists of two-bedroom flats of around 88 square metres in size, but a fifth of the units are 118-square-metres in size with three bedrooms.
