The Grand Prix Museum will be offering free admission on Thursday, 1 June, to celebrate the second anniversary of its refurbishment.
The special day will also see the unveiling of the museum’s new motorcycle racing simulator, allowing visitors to don VR headsets and enjoy the virtual thrill of speeding around the Guia Circuit.
Between 1-4 June, the museum will also offer a “360 video booth” with a selection of fun props to help visitors ham it up for the camera. Digital files of the video can be obtained as a souvenir.

There will also be a sale at the museum shop, special menu items at the café, plus a limited number of giveaways.
For many visitors, it will be an opportunity to see the new Madame Tussauds waxworks of racers John Macdonald, Ron Haslam, Ayrton Senna, Sebastian Vettel, Michael Rutter, Lewis Hamilton, Robert Huff and Edoardo Mortara. The figures were unveiled in March.
The Grand Prix Museum was closed in July 2017 for extensive renovations and reopened on 1 June, 2021.
