The exhibition has four themed sections: The transmission of arts and crafts, the harmony of rituals and customs, the taste of artisanal knowledge, and the art of confluence. The displays draw on Macao’s World Heritage sites and intangible cultural heritage to illustrate the city’s historic role as a meeting point between the East and West.
In addition to the exhibition, Macao’s Cultural Affairs Bureau organised a series of workshops focused on traditional performing arts, handicrafts and festive rituals, showcasing the living heritage of Macao’s communities.
The exhibition runs until 30 June on the third floor of the CCCM. It is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 5:30 pm, with free admission.
