The Macao government has issued a statement urging residents to avoid all travel to Iran and Israel due to the ongoing conflict between the two countries.

“Macao residents currently in Israel and Iran are urged to ensure their personal safety as top priority and leave the territories as soon as possible,” the statement said.

Messages have been sent to customers of Macao telecommunications operators who currently have their devices on data-roaming mode in Israel. No such devices have been detected in Iran. No requests for assistance have been received, however.
