Taipa Houses Museum will be closed for repairs and renovation for much of the summer, according to the Cultural Affairs Bureau.
The bureau will also carry out repairs to the Village of Our Lady of Ka Ho’s electrical system tomorrow and on Thursday. The electricity supply will be suspended while indoor exhibitions and toilets will be temporarily closed, but the adjacent outdoor spaces will remain open
Renovations to the Taipa Houses’ Macanese Living Museum interior will start at the end of this month.
The work is expected to be finished in July, with the museum being temporarily closed. The work will focus on the “repair and renovation of interior walls, doors, windows and pavements”, among others, the bureau underlined, The Macau Post Daily reported.
