Macao residents stranded in Singapore should be able to fly home as soon as this Saturday.
Macao Government Tourism Office Communication and External Relations Chief Lau Fong Chi said that the government had decided to cooperate with Singapore Airlines and allow two round trips a week between Singapore and Macao.
The flights will be operated by Singapore Airlines’ low-cost carrier Scoot.
According to the airline’s website, the first available flight will be this coming Saturday from Macao to Singapore. Economy fares are currently being advertised at MOP 2,552 one-way.
