A brand new ferry route between Barra pier and Coloane pier will set sail today.

Running from Thursday to Sunday, the ferry will operate every 25 minutes. The first ferry departs from Barra at 10.30 am and the last leaves Coloane at 6.30 pm. Tickets cost MOP 60.

The route is operated by Shun Tak-China Travel Ship Management, and a Marine and Water Bureau spokesman said the company has already finished the testing, docking and other necessary assessments prior to launching the route.
