Direct coaches between Zhuhai Jinwan Airport and Hong Kong International Airport commenced trial operations yesterday, with services linking the two airports to Hong Kong’s downtown area, according to various media reports.

The service, run by Guangdong Changsheng Transport Limited, will run 14 return trips daily. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours from Zhuhai’s airport to Hong Kong’s and around 2 hours to Hong Kong’s city centre.

However, details on the exact routing remain scant.

To celebrate the launch, a business class promotional fare of 260 yuan is available during the trial period. Tickets can be purchased at the cross-border passenger service counter on the first floor of Zhuhai Airport.

Last April, the Hong Kong CTG bus company launched 8 services per day from Zhuhai Jinwan Airport into Hong Kong.

Four services operate between Zhuhai’s airport and Hong Kong Disneyland, while another four run between Zhuhai’s airport and popular tourist areas in Kowloon such as Mong Kok and Tsim Sha Tsui, with an intermediate stop at Tsuen Wan in the New Territories.
