Macao Water, CEM and telecom operator CTM are gradually resuming normal service as Macao enters its stabilisation period today.
CEM said that its customer service centre in Macao will resume normal operations, but the Taipa Customer Service Centre remains closed for the time being.
CEM said that no appointment is required for customers entering the centre from today. Meter reading, meter installation and customer installation acceptance services will return to normal, while bills issued from 29 July will be delivered. Payment for May, June and July bills for Group A customers can be postponed and paid with the bill for August.
Power supply suspension and a late charge will not be levied if bills are overdue, the company said.
The Macao Water Customer Service Centre in Ilha Verde will resume full operation with crowd management measures, while customers are urged to apply for services in an orderly manner and follow staff instructions.
Macao Water said that meter readings will also be resumed but urged customers to apply for water supply-related services and pay water bills online through the company’s official WeChat account or website.
No late charge or water supply disconnection will be applied for those who have been unable to make payments during the Covid-19 pandemic prevention period, and the outstanding amount carried forward to the next bill.
CTM is resuming shop services, on-site installation and maintenance service, with its shops opening from 10:30 am to 2 pm and 3 pm to 6:30 pm.
CTM noted that a “staggered payment arrangement” will be implemented to reduce crowding. Counter payment services will be provided at CTM Original Store, Praia Flagship CTM, Iao Hon shop, Nam Van shop and Taipa shop from 9 am to 10:30 am and 2 pm to 3 pm.
On-site installation and maintenance service applications accumulated during the Covid-19 pandemic have been processed during the consolidation period, and the newly applied on-site installation and maintenance services will be fully resumed during the stabilisation period, The Macau Post Daily reported.
