The Thai government has now enhanced prevention measures for COVID-19, announced the Tourism Authority of Thailand in Hong Kong.

All travelers are asked to fill in public health declaration forms. Those traveling from China (including Hong Kong and Macau), South Korea, Italy and Iran will undergo 14 days quarantine when they enter the country.

If any passenger is found with high body temperature or related symptoms, the Ministry of Public Health officers at all Thai airports will escort the passenger for an immediate additional check-up.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand “advise all travelers to consider carefully whether they still want to pursue their journey”.

They also further advise that everyone “maintain good personal hygiene” if visiting Thailand, and that travelers check with respective airlines about their flight arrangements.
