The Health Bureau (SSM) is recalling the Canadian anti-depression medication Apo-Amitriptyline Tablets, which were part of the lot number RF0410.

According to SSM officials, the manufacturer discovered that this particular lot of anti-depression medication is contaminated, adding that the manufacturer has initiated the recall of the drugs, The Macau Post Daily reported.

According to local importers, the affected drugs were supplied to two private clinics in Macao. To  protect the public’s safety, the SSM has urged residents to consult their doctor about the product. Members of the public can call 8598 3453 during office hours for more information on the issue.
