Filipino fast-food giant Jollibee will open its fourth store on the ground floor of Centro Industrial Keck Seng Building on Avenida de Venceslau de Morais in Hac Sa Wan by the beginning of November.

“Construction is currently in progress. The store will have an area of 180 square metres,” said Jollibee Macau Operations Manager Kendrick Lim.

“We are continuously looking for more opportunities to expand in Macao,” even during the pandemic, he added. “The pandemic was unexpected and, indeed, a big challenge, which caused unbelievable changes, but we were able to seize new opportunities that came our way.”

By continuously looking for new ways to better serve its customers, Lim said, Jollibee “will be able to continue to overcome these challenges”, such as by focusing on take-out and delivery services during outbreak, while they keep promoting their dine-in services.

The restaurant chain famous for its fried chicken, burgers and spaghetti is very popular among Filipinos in Macao, and has also built a strong customer base among other nationalities in town.

Lim pointed out: “60 per cent of our customers are locals,” so Jollibee aims to open more branches in Macao in the near future.

The city’s first Jollibee restaurant, on the second floor of the Circle Square in the city centre, was opened in mid-2018.

Jollibee opened its second store in August 2021, located at Supreme Flower City on Avenida de Guimarães in Taipa, while the Fai Chi Kei branch, at Chino Plaza, was opened in January this year.
