More mobile blood collection vehicles are being deployed in the peninsula and Taipa to encourage residents to donate as the city’s stocks are running low.
The Health Bureau said that the collection vehicles will park in Rua de Seng Tou in Taipa, Rua Nova da Areia Preta, and Rua do Dr Pedro José Lobo between tomorrow and Sunday – except Saturday – from 1 pm to 6 pm.
Macau’s blood donation centre is located on the second floor of the Hotline Centre in Nape.
The bureau noted that people infected with the novel coronavirus can donate blood seven days after their symptoms subside and the results of their nucleic acid test or rapid antigen test become negative, The Macau Post Daily reported.
