The Transport Bureau (DSAT) is considering diverting four bus routes (7, 10B, 28BX, and 28C), resulting in them no longer stopping at the Praça de Ferreira do Amaral.

According to Macau Daily Times, It would possibly be implemented before the beginning of school year in September.

After taking into account that there are many bus lines with repeated stations or even overlapping routes, DSAT is thinking about firstly adjusting the routes of buses 7, 10B, 28BX, and 28C.

Bus line 7, after stopping at Avenida D. João IV, will stop at the Hotel Lisboa, and will not stop at Praça de Ferreira do Amaral nor at the President Hotel, instead going directly to the Avenida 24 de Junho / Rua do Porto.

Bus lines 10B and 28BX will not stop at Praça de Ferreira do Amaral, and will be going straight to the Hotel Lisboa station.

Line 28C will not stop at Praça de Ferreira do Amaral nor at the Hotel Lisboa. It will ride straight to the Praceta 1 de Outubro.

In addition, bus lines 11 and MT2 will stop later at the E channel instead of at the current D channel at the bus stop Praça de Ferreira Amaral.

After the aforementioned changes, DSAT expects that 450 fewer buses will stop at Praça de Ferreira Amaral, which will prevent traffic jams and will improve bus operations in the vicinity.
