The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announced the 13th case of coronavirus in Macau.
The 20-year-old patient is a resident of Macau who’s been studying in the United Kingdom.
She traveled on March 16 from London in the United Kingdom to Kuala Lumpur. She arrived in Hong Kong late at night and took the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau bridge heading to Macau. At the Macau port, she was found to have a fever.
The patient’s health status is considered normal at the moment, and she is currently hospitalised in the isolation ward of the Conde de São Januário Hospital.
The Health Bureau is currently looking for other people who have been in contact with the woman. More details will be released later.
