Macao’s Covid-19 cases have reached a total of 484 as of midnight last night, with 70 new cases, among which 50 were found in the community and 20 detected under management and control, the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre has announced.

A total of 9,476 individuals are under follow up, as of 8 am today, comprising 1,437 close contacts, 6,258 people with overlapping itineraries, 354 secondary contacts, 294 general contacts and 649 accompanying persons.

Authorities have meanwhile asked for everyone in Macao to undergo a rapid antigen test (RAT) today and tomorrow and declare their results on the Macao Health Code, which will turn red if the result is positive, in which case affected individuals must immediately dial 119, 120 or 2857 2222 for assistance, whether or not they are symptomatic.

Failing to do the self-test today and upload their results onto the Health Bureau’s reporting platform will risk their Macao Health Codes turning yellow at midnight.
