Macau’s average price per square metre of usable area of residential units dropped 0.8 per cent year-on-year to 107,522 patacas (US$13,440) last year, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) announced on Tuesday.
The average price of existing residential units (100,977 patacas) rose 3.9 per cent, while the average price of pre-sale residential units (142,487 patacas) dipped 0.1 per cent.
The average price per square metre of office units fell 33.8 per cent year-on-year to 108,407 patacas.
The average price per square metre of industrial units dropped 2.5 per cent to 54,979 patacas.
A total of 11,022 building units and parking spaces were sold last year, a 26.9 per cent decrease year-on-year. Their registered value fell 30.5 per cent to MOP 62.2 billion (US$7.77 billion).
