The number and value or real-estate transactions rebounded in the second quarter after three consecutive quarters of decline, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) announced on Monday.
In the second quarter, 3,038 building units and parking spaces were bought and sold at 18.03 billion patacas as per stamp duty records, up by 63.7 percent and 78.5 percent respectively quarter-to-quarter.
A total of 1,864 residential units worth 11.74 billion patacas were bought and sold in the second quarter, up by 67.4 percent and 92.8 percent quarter-to-quarter.
The average price of residential units rose by 6.5 percent quarter-to-quarter to 95,345 patacas per square meter of usable area.
The average price of pre-sale residential units rose by 6.1 percent quarter-to-quarter to 128,654 patacas per square meter.
The average price of existing residential units increased by 1.4 percent quarter-to-quarter to 81,795 patacas per square meter.
