Growth of Macau’s gross casino revenue slowed to 12.1% in May, compared to 27.6% in April and 22.2% in March, according to the Macau Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau.
Revenue in accumulated terms, from January to May, totalled 127.727 billion patacas (US$15.965 billion), an increase of 20.1% when compared to the same period of 2017.
In 2017, gross revenue from casino gaming grew 19.1% year-on-year to 265.743 billion patacas (US$33.217 billion).
At the end of the first quarter, there were 41 casinos, of which 22 were run by Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, six by Galaxy Casino, five by Venetian Macau, four by Melco Crown (Macau), two by Wynn Resorts (Macau) ) and two by MGM Grand Paradise, with 6,586 gaming tables and 17,205 slot machines.
