Potter fans take note: Harry Potter: the Exhibition makes its Asia Pacific premiere today at the Londoner Macao.
The massive exhibition covers almost 3,000 square metres and is a celebration of iconic characters, settings, and beasts from JK Rowling’s beloved Harry Potter books, the subsequent Warner Bros film series and much more.
At a launch ceremony yesterday, Dr. Wilfred Wong, president of Sands China, said “We are absolutely delighted that the Londoner Macao is the first touring destination in Asia Pacific for Harry Potter: The Exhibition. One of our goals is to offer a diverse range of entertainment that is family-friendly. This touring exhibition is truly spectacular and will appeal to a broad audience of all ages.”

Visitors will be able to see genuine film props and costumes and – through interactive storytelling and immersive technology – enter a world familiar to all Potterheads, choosing their own patronus, practising their quidditch skills, and encountering the dreaded cupboard under the stairs.
Those wanting a Harry Potter keepsake will be able to buy bespoke merchandise, butterbeer and a photo memento from a gift shop at the Londoner Macao.
The exhibition is self-guided, and organisers say they expect guests to spend up to 90 minutes exploring. Tickets are on sale via Cotai Ticketing.
