The International Series golf tournament is ready to swing into Macao

The International Series Macau golfing tournament will take place at the Macau Golf and Country Club in March 2024, according to an announcement from the event’s backer, Wynn.

The lineup is unconfirmed, but 2018 Masters champion Patrick Reed, 2010 US Open winner Graeme McDowell and 2019 US Amateur winner Andy Ogletree attended a launch event in Macao yesterday

McDowell said, “I look forward to playing tournament golf in front of the knowledgeable golf fans of the region.”

Ogletree added: “This is going to be a must-attend tournament next season.”

Said Reed: “Being a worldwide player is something that has always been important to me … It’s exciting to come to new places to grow the game and to make golf a truly global sport.

Established in 2022, the International Series offers prize money between US$1.5 million to US$2 million for each of its 10 events each season.
