The 2024 Macao Fringe Festival will take place across 12 days this month, kicking off on 17 January, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) has announced.
Under the theme of “artistic playground,” the boundary-pushing festival will see 17 performances at locations across the city, plus a slew of outreach activities.
There’ll also be a pop-up radio station (“A City of Visible Music”) and explorations of abandoned urban spaces, among other events.

Outreach activities include a juggling competition at the former Ice Long Firecracker Factory and a chance to interact with artists on a special bus tour around the city, departing from the Macao Contemporary Art Centre.
