Well, the list of destinations you can reach directly from Macao caters to most tastes these days, even if it remains limited to within Asia (murmurs around flights to the Middle Eastern destinations earlier in the year have yet to pan out).

As of July, 31 passenger airlines had been approved by Macao’s Civil Aviation Authority to fly in and out of the city’s international airport. They have permission to service 40 different routes, just over half of them to the Chinese mainland.
Here’s a breakdown of places beyond the mainland that you can currently purchase airline tickets to, from Macao, without transiting this December and January. The list is correct at the time of writing but things are always changing, so do check the airport’s website for updated flight information.
