Since the Hong Kong-Macao ferry routes resumed earlier this year, the number of daily sailings has been steadily increasing. In July, the daily average was 88 one-way trips – jumping to over 100 each Saturday and Sunday.
Currently, ferries are scheduled to depart every 30 to 60 minutes from both the Outer Harbor and Taipa Ferry Terminals.

To cater to higher travel demands over the summer vacation period, ferry companies will depart every 15 minutes during select peak hours over the weekends.
Data revealed by the Marine and Water Bureau shows that in July, ferries between Macao and Hong Kong were travelling far from capacity – with an average occupancy rate of just 56 percent.
