Over 300 Filipinos nationals returned to Manila on Thursday via a chartered flight organised by the Philippine Consulate General in Macao.

The flight had departed at 2:15 p.m., carrying 362 Filipino citizens onboard. This is the second flight organised by the consulate after about 800 nationals stranded in Macao asked for help.

The consulate also said that this will be the last flight they will charter since the ferry services to the Hong Kong International Airport are back in service again.

Gaming operator Melco Resorts & Entertainment had also recently arranged a flight for its Filipino workers to return home and Sands China is expected to do the same.
