No more COVID-19 patients in hospital

No more patients under treatment for COVID-19 after the last of Macau’s 45 COVID-19 patients was discharged from hospital today.

The last patient under treatment for COVID-19 in Macau was discharged from hospital today, according to the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre.

The patient is a 15-year-old female Macau resident who was studying in the United Kingdom. She arrived in Macau on March 24 and was tested positive for COVID-19 on March 25.

After 56 days of hospitalisation, she will start a 14-day recovery period isolation in the Public Health Clinical Centre in Coloane.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Macau has registered only 45 confirmed novel coronavirus cases, with all patients now discharged and no deaths. There are still a total of 316 people under medical observation 26 are non-resident workers, 197 are Macau residents and 93 are tourists.

Macau has not registered any COVID-19 case in the last 41 days.
