The Identification Services Bureau (DSI) announced in a statement on Wednesday that it has extended its contact information amendment service to include the Macau Post and Telecommunications Bureau (CTT).

This move that started on Wednesday, allows residents to update their address and contact information registered at various public departments in one go, the statement said.

According to the statement, when residents update the contact information of their identity card (BIR) records at the DSI’s self-service kiosk, they can also authorise the bureau to forward relevant data to the Macau Post and Telecommunications Bureau to make the relevant alteration.

The operation at the self-service kiosk is “simple and convenient”, and amended information will be processed by the Identification Services Bureau within three working days after the day of submitting the application, the statement said.

According to the statement, the current coverage of the service across the government already comprises the Social Security Fund (FSS), Pension Fund (FP), Marine and Water Bureau (DSAMA), Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), Education and Youth Affairs Bureau (DSEJ), and Health Bureau (SSM).

The self-service kiosks are available at 52 locations locally. For details of the function and location of the kiosks, please visit the DSI website: www.dsi.gov.mo/kiosk_e.jsp
