The Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau (SAFP) on Monday reminded permanent residents who still aren’t included in the city’s electoral roll that they must register on Thursday at the latest if they want to cast their ballot in next year’s Legislative Assembly elections.

According to the statement,  in addition to the Public Administration Building until Thursday from 9 am to 6 pm, residents can also sign up at Flower City Garden today, the Seac Pai Van Activity Centre tomorrow, and at Iao Hon Market Park on Thursday, from 3 pm to 7 pm respectively.

The bureau stressed that residents must provide an accurate residential address in order for the government to assign the closest polling station.

Permanent residents aged at least 18 are entitled to be included in the electoral roll.

For more information, locals can call 8987 1704 during office hours.
