The Regency Art Hotel – which is located on Taipa Island – will be used again as a government-designated hotel for quarantine starting Monday, 1 February.
According to the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), the Regency Art Hotel offered its services to be used as quarantine hotel for residents and non-residents but they need to pay their stay according to the room rates of their choice.
With 326 rooms, Regency Art Hotel has been used before during certain periods as a quarantine designated hotel.
Lisboeta Macau and Sheraton Grand in Cotai, are already offering their installations to the health services to be used for medical observation.
The government-designated hotels for quarantine – Pousada Marina Infante and Golden Crown China Hotel, next to the airport – are exclusively for Macao residents and accompanying family members that can ask for payment exemption if they have stayed in Macao for at least six months.
