Japanese casual-wear apparel company Uniqlo will open its biggest Macao shop in on 30 September close to the Ruins of St Paul’s that will for the first time in Hong Kong and Macao feature a UTme! design-your-own T-shirt service.

The company made the announcement in a statement on Thursday.

It will be the casual wear brand’s second store in Macao. Its first shop in the city is located at The Venetian mall in Cotai.

The statement said that the location of the new store is in the heart of the city’s historical landmarks and connected to different key districts.

According to the statement, the shop will have five storeys covering a total surface area of 1,772 square metres. It will feature the UTme! service that lets customers create their own T-shirt. The brand will collaborate with local illustrators to create UTme! designs with local elements.
