Macau Gaming Show to partner with 2 SOEs

The Macau Gaming Equipment Manufacturers Association (MGEMA), the organiser of the Macau Gaming Show, will partner with two state-owned enterprises (SOEs) – Nam Kwong Culture and Creativity Industry Co. Ltd. and China National Machinery Industry International Co. Ltd. (SINOMACHINT) – at the 6th MGS Entertainment Show in November, MGEMA Chairman Jay Chun said Monday.

The Macau Gaming Equipment Manufacturers Association (MGEMA), the organiser of the Macau Gaming Show, will partner with two state-owned enterprises (SOEs) – Nam Kwong Culture and Creativity Industry Co. Ltd. and China National Machinery Industry International Co. Ltd. (SINOMACHINT) – at the 6th MGS Entertainment Show in November, MGEMA Chairman Jay Chun said Monday.

Chun made the remarks during a press conference about the upcoming MGS Entertainment Show, which was attended by representatives of various gaming operators, at The Plaza Restaurant in Zape.

MGS is the abbreviation of Macau Gaming Show.

Addressing the press conference, Chun said that “MGS has been committed to building a good business platform for technology entertainment and related industries, as well as seeking more business opportunities for exhibitors…MGS 2018 will add more and more non-gaming elements to the exhibition, such as tourism, leisure, vacations, hotels, environmental protection, and technology.”

According to Chun, the “Global Digital Entertainment Summit 2018” will also be held during the MGS 2018, and the summit will feature the latest technology of e-sports, virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), and electronic game equipment.

On the sidelines of the press conference, Chun told reporters that the partnership with the two SOEs would last at least three years.

The MGS Entertainment Show will be held on November 13-15 at the Venetian in Cotai.
