Tickets to the semi-finals and finals for the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF)’s Men’s and Women’s World Cup sold out just 2.24 seconds after going on sale last Friday morning, Inside Asia Gaming (IAG) reports – citing mainland media as its source.
The tournament is being held at the Galaxy Arena from 15 to 21 April, with qualifying matches on the first two days. Elimination matches are scheduled on 18 and 19 April, semi-finals on 20 April and the final on 21 April.
The event will see 48 male and 48 female players battle it out for the respective championship titles. Defending champions Fan Zhendong and Sun Yingsha, both from China, will be among them.

Tickets for earlier matches remain available and can be purchased via Damai, the mCoin platform of Mpay, Cityline, macauticket.com, by telephone, at Kong Seng outlets in Macao, or directly at the venue Galaxy Arena during the event period.
Prices range from 100 to 1,200 patacas depending on seating and session.
The tournament is co-organized by the Sports Bureau, Galaxy Entertainment Group, World Table Tennis Management Group and the Macau Table Tennis General Association.
