Macao is sending 174 athletes to China’s inaugural Student (Youth) Games next month, the Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ) has announced.
The athletes and their sizable support delegation visited Government Headquarters yesterday, where Chief Executive Ho Iat Seng presented them with a Macao flag.
Ho urged the young athletes to showcase their “fighting spirit,” bring honour to Macao, and make friends with their fellow competitors from across the country.
