Macao driver Filipe de Sousa won the first Guia Race of the Macau Grand Prix today in an Audi RS3 on the 6.12 kilometre Guia Circuit.
In second place was mainland Chinese driver Heng Hu, also driving an Audi RS3. In third place on the podium was Cheong Chi On, another Macao driver, behind the wheel of an Audi RS3.
In a resounding coup for the city’s racing reputation, the top five places were taken by four Macao drivers, with Leong Keng Hei in fourth place and Chan Weng Tongin fifth place.
Today’s race defined the grid of the second Guia Race which will take place on Sunday.
