Gaming operator SJM on Thursday announced that its popular Grand Lisboa New Year Countdown Show will be cancelled this year, in accordance with the disease-control efforts of the government to avoid large gatherings. In previous years the annual event was held at the Grand Lisboa outdoor piazza on 31 December.
