Macao’s residential property price index drops 4.8% in 2022

Macao’s overall average residential property price index dropped 4.8 per cent year-on-year in 2022, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) has announced. 

The indices for existing residential units and pre-sale residential units fell 5.3 per cent and 0.1 per cent respectively year-on-year. 

The overall residential property price index in the fourth quarter of last year decreased by 1.3 per cent from the previous quarter. The indices for existing residential units dipped 1.2 per cent and for pre-sale residential units 2.1 per cent, The Macau Post Daily reported.
