The Macao Health Code’s Risk Check function now shows itinerary records shared with the city’s current positive Covid-19 cases.

If a person has been in the same place with a confirmed case, that location will be indicated in red on records and that person’s health code will automatically become yellow.

An SMS from the Health Bureau will be sent out to notify those who share common itineraries with the positive cases and whose health codes have turned yellow.

They are considered at risk of being infected and must undergo further two nucleic acid tests (NAT) within the next three days, on the first and third, while their health codes will remain yellow for four days.

They must book the NAT appointment themselves and can choose to pay for the test and get the result, or do a free test without receiving the result.
