Three new services – Curriculum Vitae (CV), My Interview and Favourite Job – have been added to the Local Occupational Vacancies function provided by Macao One Account.

The Labour Affairs Bureau said that the aim was to make it easier for job seekers to apply for employment.

The bureau said that job seekers can update their personal information at any time through the CV, and add their interview schedule to the My Memo function through the new My Interview service, so that they can receive a reminder of the interview date to help them prepare for the interview in advance.

The bureau said that it launched the Local Occupational Vacancies function online in April, enabling job seekers to make their selection online more quickly.

The bureau pointed out that since the introduction of the scheme, there has been a “significant increase” in the number of successful applicants through the bureau’s online platform.

In related news, the Transport Bureau (DSAT) announced that from 10 am today, Macao ID card holders who have signed up for a personal account under the Macao One Account can apply to renew their local driving licence, special driving permit and international driving licence via the platform.

The bureau underlined that online applicants for renewal of their local driving licence or special driving permit should make sure that their licence or permit has six months to run before the expiry date, while applicants for an international driving licence should make sure that the validity period of their local driving licence is not less than 30 days.

Applicants must submit the ID photo that has been added to their Macao One Account, complete the application of the vehicle driver’s physical and health certificate at a health centre under the Health Bureau and submit them electronically to the DSAT. Afterwards, facial recognition will be used to confirm their identity and online payment.

After completing the online application, the successful applicants can pick up their physical driving licence at the selected location during the application process within three working days at the earliest, or follow the progress displayed in the My Service function of their Macao One Account.

The bureau noted that successful applicants for renewal of their driving licence should hand in their old driving licence at the time of collection, while a formal declaration form must be signed if the old one has been lost or stolen, The Macau Post Daily reported.
