The first-ever Macau SMEs Wholesale & B2B Exhibition 2022 is slated to take place from next Friday through Sunday in the Grand Hall at the Macao Tower Convention and Entertainment Centre.

The three-day event, which is organised by Togather Culture Company, aims to create a business expo exclusively for local SMEs, while providing a new platform for them to explore more opportunities for business cooperation.

The expo will be divided into three major theme areas: Catering Wholesale, Commercial Service and Specialty Products.

Togather Culture Company founder James Si Tou Chi Chon said that more than 70 SMEs, including 60 local companies and 10 from mainland China, will participate in the event, which, he said, was expected to attract more than 10,000 on- and offline visits and drive exhibitors’ total turnover to MOP 3 million.

Si Tou pointed out that the event will also cooperate with Macao business associations and be integrated with a number of booths run by entrepreneurial students from the city’s colleges and universities, aiming to bring together SMEs and provide them with a new platform to explore new opportunities, new markets and new business opportunities.

Apart from the expo, Si Tou said, a raft of business-themed activities will also be held during the three-day event, such as a business presentation, a business-sharing session and a business-cocktail reception, adding that prominent businesspeople will also be invited to share their views and discuss business experiences with each other.

Si Tou also said that his company was planning to hold a similar expo in mainland China as well, hoping to provide opportunities for Macao SMEs or brands to enter the mainland market, while his company would also hold more expos next year to help  SMEs expand their resource network.
