The 26th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair, the Macao Franchise Expo and the Portuguese Speaking Countries Products and Services Exhibition (Macao) have been postponed to December.

The three events, organised by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), were originally scheduled to be held 21 to 23 October.

In a note distributed today, IPIM justified the postponement saying that due to “epidemic prevention and control measures, exhibitors and buyers need time to prepare for the exhibitions”.

“In efforts to hold the three exhibitions to a high standard and help participants seize business opportunities, the organiser has decided to postpone the exhibitions to December,” the institute said.

The organiser of the events also said that “the exact dates in December will be announced later.”
