The MGTO is once again offering free bus and ferry tickets for international tourists who intend to travel to Macao by way of Hong Kong. The offer will be available between 1 May and 31 December.
Any international traveller with valid foreign travel documents and passage to Hong Kong is eligible to receive a free coach or ferry ticket from Hong Kong to Macao.
The free one-way bus and ferry tickets are available for pre-booking through the official websites of the service providers: Hong Kong Airport Shuttle Bus Services, TurboJet and Cotai Water Jet. The offer is unlimited throughout the promotional period but subject to availability of seats on a first-come, first-serve basis.

For travellers intending to go to Macao via ferry, proof of arrival in Hong Kong within the past 7 days will be required.
As for direct transport from Hong Kong International Airport, international visitors can present their travel document and boarding pass at the designated counter at the SkyPier Terminal to claim a free coach ticket direct to Macao via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.
In an effort to encourage more international travellers to extend their trips to Macao and continue expanding the visitor market, a similar promotion was operated last year between February and December. Over the 11-month period, the scheme brought over 310,000 tourists to Macao.
