A new 5-star Capella Hotel is expected to open at Galaxy Macau in the middle of 2025, the gaming concessionaire announced in a statement today.
Known as Capella at Galaxy Macau, the 17-floor luxury hotel will feature Galaxy’s signature gold exterior and include 36 “sky villas” and 57 suites that are designed by the well-known French company Moinard Bētaille.
In creating the look, the design firm drew inspiration from tropical greenery and the concept of water.
According to the casino operator, each villa will boast an outdoor lounge, an infinity pool, karaoke room, a personal cocktail bar and a pantry. The suites are also expected to be equally luxurious, with private pools and balconies that allow guests to enjoy a sweeping view of the city.

“We are thrilled to create this magnificent embodiment of ultra-luxury 21st century hospitality in partnership with Capella Hotel and Resorts,” the vice chairman of Galaxy Entertainment Group, Francis Lui, said.
As for dining, Michelin-starred chef Vicky Cheng will open his inaugural high-end restaurant in the hotel. “I look forward to presenting my refined, innovative take on French-meets-Chinese flavours and techniques with an experimental twist,” Cheng said.
There will also be a whiskey bar created by Moinard Bētaille and a members-only lounge, called Pony & Plume, by Hong Kong interior designer, Albert Kwan.
Galaxy Macau is currently home to eight hotels, including Banyan Tree and the Ritz-Carlton.
