Tourist arrivals in Macau grew 10.44 per cent during dragon boat festival

Immigration authorities recorded a total of 1,838,717 crossings at the checkpoints of Macau during the Dragon Boat Festival (between 9 and 12 June), Public Security Police Force (PSP) revealed on Monday.

The total number of arrivals stood at 920,027, with 626,996 tourists arriving to Macau, representing a 10.44 per cent growth. Regarding the total number of arrivals, 677,709 were logged at the Border-gate. The local airport received 35,725. Some 87,494 entrances took place at the Macau Ferry Terminal. Taipa Ferry Terminal received 55,589 arrivals.

The total number of departures was of 918,690. Of those, 690,171 occurred at the border-gate, while 84,648 and 45,088 took place at the Macau Ferry Terminal and Taipa Ferry Terminal.
