The Macao Grand Prix Museum will be getting into the spirit of Chinese New Year (CNY) with an array of activities, competitions, exhibitions and special discounts.

From this Sunday through next Saturday, the museum will run a free Explore the Guia Circuit Bus Tour at 12 noon, 2:30 pm and 5:00 pm daily.

Museum visitors can board the tour whose guide will introduce the race circuit’s characteristics. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the Macau Grand Prix. 

Until 30 January, the museum ticket office is distributing 10 per cent souvenir shop discount coupons to visitors.

The shop will also launch the Year of the Rabbit Chinese New Year Promotion, with some products sold at 10 or 50 per cent off.

Admission tickets to the museum will also come with one beverage coupon to use at the themed café.

To widen the museum exhibit collection, the Macao Government Tourism Office, in conjunction with Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, will debut eight wax figures of motor racers.

The waxworks will t be displayed between this Sunday and 28 February. Visitors will be invited to play Racer Wax Figures: Guess Who? with the chance to win prizes in a lucky draw, The Macau Post Daily reported. Museumgoers who correctly guess all eight of the motor racers can join the lucky draw for a chance to win prizes, the results of which will be unveiled at the wax figures’ inauguration.
