Grand Lisboa has received the quadruple Forbes Five-Star awards for its hotel, Spa at Grand Lisboa, Robuchon au Dôme and The 8 from Forbes Travel Guide for the first time.

“We are honoured to join the ranks of an elite few hotels around the world to receive the quadruple Forbes Five-Star designation for Grand Lisboa Hotel, The Spa at Grand Lisboa, Robuchon au Dôme and The 8,” Jonas Schuermann, Managing Director, Hospitality Services of SJM S.A. said. “Our passionate and dedicated team of hospitality professionals remains committed each day to adhering to the most stringent of service and quality standards required of the Forbes Travel Guide.”

The Grand Lisboa Hotel is owned by Sociedade de Jogos de Macau (SJM) and fully opened in 2008. It is the only hotel in Macau that houses seven Michelin stars under one roof: the three-starred Robuchon au Dôme atop the hotel; The Eight, also a three-starred Michelin restaurant, serving Cantonese cuisine; and The Kitchen, a Michelin one-starred steakhouse.

Forbes Travel Guide unveiled its 2020 star award winners today. It is the only global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants and spas and the only way for hotels to receive a Five-Star, Four-Star or Recommended rating is by earning it through the Forbes Travel Guide’s independent inspection process.
